
Records oh the white-throared hawk (Buteo albigula) along the chilean costal forest
The White-throated Hawk (Buteo albigula) is a little-known, migratory, South American forest raptor (Pavez 2000, Trejo et al. 2006). Up to date, only two main distribution areas are known for this hawk species: the southern temperate rainforest, where it breeds (Gelain et al. 2001, Trejo et al. 2001, Pavez et al. 2004), and the sub tropical Andes (Trejo et al. 2006).
